SUMMARY:Sand Mountain Sizzle Double Steak Cookoff 2021
DESCRIPTION:The Albertville Chamber of Commerce is pleased to host Sand Mountain Sizzle Double Steak Cookoff in partnership with the Steak Cookoff Association on June 12\, 2021. \n\n \n\n The competition will take place in the Farmer's Market parking lot behind the Chamber. Teams from all over the Southeast will compete to win cash prizes. The winner of the event also will qualify to move on to the World Championship SCA competition in Texas later this year.  Cash payouts for each  the steak contests are:\n\n1st place: $1000\n\n2nd place: $700\n\n3rd place: $500\n\n4th place: $200\n\n5-10th place: $100\n\nThere will also be an ancillary Chicken Wing contest and a Margarita with cash prizes. The teams can win the following for the ancilliary contests\n\n1st place: $150\n\n2nd place: $100\n\n3rd place: $50\n\n4th place: $25\n\n5th place: $25\n\nIn addition\, the winner of the Chicken portion contest could win an additional $100 if they use Spices Smokehouse Crackers in their recipe. \n\n \n\nLocal teams are encouraged to sign up to compete! The team entry fee is $150 for Steak A Only & $300 for Steak A&B  and $25 for the chicken wing & $25 for the margarita  portion. Teams can register at www.steakcookoffs.com.
