2025 Small Business of the Year Nomination Criteria: The candidate must serve the Albertville area. The candidate must be a member in good standing with the Albertville Chamber of Commerce. The candidate will be judged by the selection committee on community involvement, Chamber participation, and business success. Limit of 3 businesses per category. Please remember, this is not a popularity contest. The award decisions are based on the quality of the nomination, not the number of nominations. The winners are selected by a committee made up of Chamber board members, ambassadors, and former winners. The chamber staff DOES NOT select the winners, ensuring a fair and impartial process. Each category will only accept 3 nominations. Once the third nomination has been received the category will be considered closed. Any additional nominations will be rolled over to the upcoming year. Additionally any business that has won an award within the last years is not eligible for nomination. The Albertville Small Business of the Year will go on to represent Albertville at the State Small Business Awards presented by Alabama Chambers and the Business Council of Alabama. Nominations must be submitted to the Albertville Chamber of Commerce by January 01, 2026.
