Eligibility & Selection Criteria The nominee must be a resident of Albertville or be actively involved in a business located in Albertville. The nominee’s civic, professional, or business contributions should have had a direct and positive impact on the growth, welfare, quality of life, or image of the City of Albertville. Preference will be given to individuals who are actively engaged in the Albertville business community and demonstrate a strong commitment to the community’s continued success. Nominees should demonstrate consistent excellence in professional, civic, and community leadership. Consideration should be given to individuals who have made significant contributions to the welfare of the community through involvement and participation in multiple organizations, initiatives, or areas of service. Sustained service and long-term impact should be strongly considered, recognizing individuals whose contributions demonstrate an ongoing commitment to Albertville rather than a single accomplishment or short-term involvement. Service, leadership, and involvement with the Albertville Chamber of Commerce should receive favorable consideration as part of the nominee’s overall record of community engagement. The Citizen of the Year should represent the spirit of Albertville through leadership, service, integrity, and a demonstrated commitment to making the community a better place to live, work, and do business.
