2027 Chamber Ambassador Application
The Albertville Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Program is an opportunity for enthusiastic business and community leaders to become more involved in the Chamber while building valuable relationships and supporting our local business community. Ambassadors serve as an extension of the Chamber, helping connect members with Chamber staff, the Board of Directors, and other businesses throughout Albertville and the Sand Mountain region.
As a Chamber Ambassador, you will help strengthen member engagement by welcoming new members, encouraging participation in Chamber programs, assisting with member outreach and retention efforts, and serving as a representative of the Chamber at events and activities. Ambassadors also provide valuable feedback from the business community to help the Chamber better serve its members.
Serving as an Ambassador provides opportunities to expand your professional network, increase visibility for your business, develop leadership skills, and make a meaningful impact in our community. Most importantly, Ambassadors play an essential role in helping the Chamber build a stronger, more connected business community.
Ambassador Requirements & Expectations
Applicants must represent a business or organization that has been a Chamber member in good standing for at least one year. Retired individuals may also apply if nominated by a current Chamber member.
Ambassadors are expected to attend bi-monthly meetings, participate in at least one Chamber event or ribbon cutting each month, and actively support Chamber programs and member engagement initiatives. To maintain active status, Ambassadors should have no more than three consecutive or four total meeting absences during the year.
A $75 annual participation investment is required for each Ambassador, payable by the individual or their employer by January 31, 2027. This investment helps offset expenses associated with Ambassador activities and team engagement.
Throughout the year, Ambassadors assist with a variety of Chamber activities, including ribbon cuttings, networking events, the Annual Awards Banquet, Chamber Cup Golf Tournament, Women in Business events, Membership Appreciation Week, Sand Mountain Spooktacular, Hometown Holiday Stroll, Turkey & Tinsel on Main Christmas Parade, and other Chamber programs. Responsibilities may include welcoming attendees, assisting with event setup, supporting Chamber staff, and helping create a positive experience for members and guests.
Ambassadors who actively volunteer at ticketed Chamber events priced under $50 receive complimentary admission and meals when applicable.
