  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of FSG’s equipment and service capabilities to accurately communicate technical specifications, applications, and competitive advantages to customers; continuously invest in learning new products and updates to service offerings.
  • Read, interpret, and present blueprints, layouts, and engineering drawings to customers and internal teams in support of equipment selection, project scoping, and proposal development.
  • Manage the full sales cycle using the company CRM system — from initial lead acquisition through contract execution and installation — ensuring all customer interactions, opportunities, and pipeline activities are accurately documented and up to date.
  • Create and maintain operational alignment across departments to foster effective cross-departmental project communication. Work closely with the Sales and Production Departments to ensure customer production schedules are met, address customer concerns, and communicate customer feedback.

  • Provide timely and professional follow-up on all customer inquiries, resolve service issues in coordination with internal departments, and maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, poultry processing technology advancements, and market dynamics to identify new sales opportunities and inform strategy.
  • Represent FSG professionally in all customer interactions; maintain business casual attire and uphold the company’s values and brand standards.
  • Performs any other duties as assigned.

  • Willingness and demonstrated ability to learn complex equipment and service capabilities in order to accurately and confidently communicate and sell them to customers.
  • Strong communication skills across all channels — phone, email, and in-person — with the ability to engage effectively with plant managers, engineers, purchasing teams, and executive level contacts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM platforms; experience with CRM-driven pipeline management required.
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation with a proven ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to independently design and execute a full customer outreach and lead acquisition schedule without direct supervision.
